If you are really 47 and taking drugs usually taken by teenagers (unless you are Native American-in which case talk to a tribal elder), I have concerns about you. Stop using hallucinogens - they are dangerous.

However, they cause elevated pulse, which in people with underlying arteriosclerosis of coronary or cerebral arteries, it can precipitate heart attack or stroke. In patients with underlying psychiatric disease, hallucinogens can cause more serious psychotic reactions.
