Not enough RBCs: RBCs (red blood cells) carry oxygen to yah tissues. If you are anemic and RBCs too low then your body is starved for oxygen and you will always be tired and exhausted. Can also affect you heart and brain leading to heart attacks and inability to concentrate .

NO: It takes much longer than 1 day of fasting to become anemic. Red blood cells live 120 dats, so you'd have to be without the nutrients for over a month before it would start having a significant impact. About the only thing that makes you anemic in a day is massive acute blood loss, and I'd hope you'd know if that was happening!

Not enough vitamins: Rickets is due to not enough vitamin d which you can get from sun exposure or dairy products. Microcytic anemia may be due to lack of iron (more typically from blood loss) while macrocytic anemia may be due to lack of folate and/or vitamin b12, found in fruits, vegetables & whole grains. That's why it's so important to eat a varied diet including the colors of the rainbow each day!
