Nuvigil: I would recommend nuvigil.  It helps a lot with the excessive fatigue.  Can last up to 15 hours and is a single dose.  Speak with your doctor to see if this is an appropriate medication for you.

Mattress topper: Have you considered a mattress topper made from memory foam (a minimum of 4 inches deep).?  I personally found this very helpful. Take care.

DEFINITELY!!!!!!: Yes you should continue the medications as the fibromyalgia is a chronic and lifelong condition.  Your doses are very low so if these are effective i would definitely stick with it.

No: There are other meds besides Lyrica (pregabalin) that are often very effective for fibro.

Lyrica, (pregabalin) probably: Lyrica (pregabalin), Cymbalta (duloxetine), and savella (milnacipran) are fda approved for fibromyalgia, although other medications including Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) (cyclobenzaprine) have also been proven to help the symptoms.  I am not aware of any studies directly comparing cyclobenzaprine with lyrica, but Lyrica has more data supporting its efficacy than does cyclobenzaprine.

Not always: Lyrica (pregabalin) is only one option and there are several other meds which can very effective in the treatment of fibromyalgia. Many people do not tolerate lyrica (pregabalin). Get another opinion if your doctor will not discuss options with you.

Yes there are: Unfortunately, weight gain is common with many of the oral medications used in the treatment of FBS. Medications in the same classes have differing degrees to which they contribute on an individual basis. Following is a list of different classes and examples of each: AED- Lyrica, (pregabalin) gabapentin, Topamax. TCA-Doxepin, amitriptyline. SNRI-Cymbalta, venlafaxine. Topamax often causes weight loss.
