VERY DIFFERENT: Both ms and lupus are immune mediated inflammatory disorders, and your neck issues most likely due to degenerative or traumatic etiologies.  None of these are related to each other, and in fact, your symptoms may indeed be due to post-operative complications such as scarring.  An expert neurologist can readily sort out and categorize your issues, and may be worthwhile to have a consultation.

Doubt infection: I doubt this is an infection. Shingles is caused by the chickenpox virus and if you've had chickenpox or had a chicken vaccination your risk of chickenpox is low. Shingles can occur at any age but especially is more common as we age.

First, don't pick it, stick it or squeeze it.If it's small, like a pimple or small boil,see if your body can deal with it using a warm compress.Anything else,get it looked at in person by a doctor,who can decide what needs to be done and/or if you need any medications,or if tests are needed
