See a doctor: I.e dermatologist or podiatrist who may take a sample of the nail and see if you have fungus. They then can offer you treatment.

Fungal Toenails: This question is asked daily at our office.  In short, nails are protein like calluses and thicken due to constant pressure or trauma to protect your body.  Sometimes they are discolored due to the pigment in your integument and do not contain fungal elements or growth.
Treatment with a topical has limited to poor results.  Oral anti-fungals give better results, liver profile test recommended.

Can be splinter  hemorrhage - benign or  autoimmune like psoriasis which is also associated with pitting (dents) in fingernails and rash/flaking , or   due to  endocarditis -infection on heart valve ( more serious).  F/u/ w/ dermatology

Embolic Phenomena?: What you are describing sounds like emboli distally. This can come from internal infection or vasculitis. Have U been recently pregnant? Do U take illicit drugs IV? Have U ever been told of a heart murmur?  This needs a full W/U. OK to start with an internist, but it sounds like U may need a cardiac Sonogram. Any Lupus in the family? Please see Internist ASAP.

Not particularly: There are many purported home remedies but a fungal nail infeciton requires oral anti-fungal medication.  First you need a proper diagnosis and then treatment.  The teatment for finger nail fungus is the same as toe nail fungus only shorter.  Many things mimic nail fungus and is not fungus.  Bacterial infections can do this.  See a dermatologist and get a proper diagnosis and proper treatment.

Nerve pain: The pain you are describing sounds like nerve pain or possibly peripheral neuropathy. There are multiple causes for this and you will need blood tests and further investigations by your doctor to decide on the cause.
