Cold sores &amp; stress: Herpes simplex is divided into two types: hsv type 1 and hsv type 2. Both of these conditions can affect your mouth or your genitals, and can be spread via oral sex. There no cure for hsv infection and often stress is an aggravating factor. Cold sores generally clear up without treatment within 10-14 days.

Could be tori: Would need a bit more info for a more definitive answer: are they within the lower lip or attached below the lower front teeth? If they're attached below the teeth, they are likely tori which are harmless rock-hard bony growths. They can sometimes be related to heavy, chronic teeth clenching. If they are within the lower lip, they could be lymph nodes. If ur concerned, a quick visit to the dentist.

Are you a smoker?: When i hear about itchy bumps on the roof of the mouth, occurring over a long period of time, i think of a condition seen in smokers.  This causes a cobblestoned surface to the roof of the mouth and results from irritation from the tobacco smoke.  It should be evaluated by a dermatologist who is familiar with oral diseases to make sure it isn't something more serious.

i have lumps under my tounge on the base of my mouth is that normal?

Maybe: Many people have boney outgrowths at the base of their mouth as well as on the palate and the cheek side of the upper ridge of gum above the upper teeth all which usually present no problems. This should still be checked by your dentist to make sure this falls into this class and is not one the many other reasons for "lumps".

TMJ: Not sure about the lumps -you did not say where they are. The clicking sounds may be a symptom of tmj. See your doctor or dentist re this. Tmj is the joint connecting the lower jaw to the skull. The joint may be irritated or inflamed. This can come from grinding your teeth as an example.
