: These usually represent collections of calcium/debris left over from a deep blood clot under the skin. They can take weeks/months to fully dissipate. I would not consider it likely to cause problems. If you go in for another reason your doc can confirm it.

Staph Infection: You have a staph infection and it very well may be the MRSA dangerous form of staph. This needs to be evaluated by the family doctor urgently.

: They are likely just a pool of clotted blood under the skin that will eventually be broken down and recycled by the body over a period of days to weeks. Other than scolding your partner and covering the lumps, there is not much to do other than wait.

Sounds like: you may have a small "hematoma" (Blood blister) under the skin! Apply WET HEAT packs to the area to help increase the local circulation thus removing the old blood cells

: This would be a collection of red blood cells collected under the skin that will dissolve over time and be absorbed by the body. It is not a risk of a "clot" that would cause a stroke. Those form inside big blood vessels, there is no relationship between the two processes.

It will resolve.: If this is truly a hickey caused by kissing/sucking, it will resolve just like a blood blister or bruise that causes broken blood vessels. Keep it clean and protected.  If no apparent cause, get it checked to confirm diagnosis.

Probably lymph node: If it was clotted blood it would look like a "black and blue" and be undergoing color changes. You can easily find on Google an Atlas of anatomy of the neck and see the normal distribution of lymph nodes in the neck. And tell your special friend not to suck so hard next time! That hurt! You're supposed to pleasure each other, not hurt each other!
