My husband just gave me a hickey for the first time and i have two swollen purple lumps on it. what could that be and what should i do?

They are likely just a pool of clotted blood under the skin that will eventually be broken down and recycled by the body over a period of days to weeks. Other than scolding your partner and covering the lumps, there is not much to do other than wait.

Give it a few days, it will heal. It may leave a pigment patch for longer. You may use make-up to cover it.
