See PCP : 'lumps' on shoulder blades could be several things but what u should do is see your physician. Fatty benign tumors( lipomas) are common here.If u fell, an organizing hematoma may be forming. Osteochondromas are not uncommon on the scapula. All this is speculation; see your pcp w/ possible referral to orthopedist. Best of luck!

Lipoma?: You should see a surgeon for exam and probable excision. Lipomas are self-contained fatty growths that are usually left alone unless they become large enough to cause discomfort, which is what it sounds like you have. Surgeon can do exam and see if something else or remove.

Need to be checked: You had melanoma removed and now have a lump, it needs to be checked.Er is not the right place, you should go to clinic where it can be followed or see the doctors who treated you.

Numbness, lumps: These could be related, as a lump (nodule or mass) may cause pressure on a superficial nerve in that area.  Grinding is common with some people's joints (crepitus) and if not painful is of little concern.  If the lump and not the joint is making the grinding noise, perhaps it is time to get it checked out!

Blocked gland?: A sebaceous cyst is a collection of oily fluid that occurs when an oil gland is blocked.  Some folks are more prone to them than other and they often appear on the neck, shoulders, and back.  Please see doc for diagnosis because it could be something else more serious an need attention. Lumps and bumps: This needs a MRI, X-ray and examination. Orthopedists have a standard work up for lumps and bumps.

Sebaceous cyst?: It sounds like a cyst with a blackhead. Can you upload an image.
It is still a good idea to see a doctor for evaluation and likely surgical excision of the cyst. Most commonly the cyst will then be sent to laboratory for pathology evaluation to assure it is benign.

Needs removal : If you have a bothersome lump on your back please get it evaluated. It may be as simple as a sebaceous cyst that just needs to be opened and extracted. This of course is impossible to tell without seeing the bump.
