what's the cause for armpit lump in both arms for 2 months,no pain been tired lately and a bit of weight loss?however when i went to the doctor a few months ago when i already had weight loss my blood work was fine?

: I recommend being examined by your physician as lumps in both armpits suggest enlargement of lymph nodes. The enlarged nodes may also be present in your neck &amp; elsewhere. Associated fatigue as well as your age bracket raise the possibility of infectious mononucleosis, but other blood pathologies can also cause generalized lymph node enlargement.

i have a small ( pea size) lump/knot below my hairline. it's on the left size and it's painless. i have had blood work done and everything came back normal. should i be worried about this?

Lump: Monitor its size. This likely is a cyst. Monitor it. Do not play with it or rub it. If it changes, see your doctor.

hello i just had blood work taken and i developed petechiae on my arm where they took blood. is this normal and how do i treat it ?

Normal: petechiae on site of drawing blood it can happen ,and pressure on site it help to recover.

i have pain in my left and right arm when i extend it were blood work is done very annoying what can this be? i didn't hurt myself?

Depends: If done recently , you may have a phlebitis or irritation of the vein. Usually tylenol (acetaminophen) and local warm compresses will improve this. Keep an eye on it, as there is always a risk of infection w/needle pokes, or it could be bruising. If not improving in about 3 days, see your dr.

Hematoma: The immediate thing would have been to put pressure at the site of needle puncture. For the next few hours it would have helped to ice the site. Now you can leave it alone and let nature take its course. It will heal but may leave some pigmentation for some days to months.

i have a lump/knot on the left size of my neck, it does hurt be it's worrying me. i had blood work done about 3 weeks ago and everything was good. could this lump/knot be cancer?

Follow up with doc: If it doesn't get smaller and go away or continues getting bigger, especially if it is hard, firm, and immobile, it makes sense to think about biopsying it for your peace of mind. If you and your doctor decide to do this, a referral to an Otolaryngologist or Ears Nose and Throat surgeon would be a good idea. If you have had a recent viral infection or sore throat, that may be the cause.

felt a lump in the side of my neck. moves when i rub on it. had a full panel of blood work done, and everything was normal and in range. thyroid was normal and in range. what could be going on? thanks?

: You need more than blood tests to evaluate a neck lump. For example you could have normal thyroid blood test with cancer. You need a careful examination of your neck by your physician or an ENT specialist. He/she will then determine whether an ultrasound or a CT scan should be done.or whether it's a nonserious lump which may or may not require a followup examination of it in a few weeks.

It may be normal: You may feel sore on the arm for a while, and in some instances, you may see bleeding sometime after blood sampling. Sight of bleeding or blood may cause you to feel dizzy or feeling like fainting. These are normal responses. When it happens, i would suggest that you ask permission to lie down for 10 minutes or so, or until you feel normal. Drinking water or juice also may help.
