Globus: This is called a globus sensation. Globus hystericus is the kind which is associated with anxiety. Globus can also be due to laryngopharyngeal reflux(lpr).  Acid regurgitated into the  throat causes an inflammatory sensation of something stuck, or a fullness in the throat. Consider your diet and observe reflux prcautions. Medication can also help with lpr.

Probably not serious: Feeling a painless lump in the throat on swallowing is quite often a stress symptom in female patients. It is oftentimes described as "having a ball in my throat"(Globus pharyngis) If there is no difficulty swallowing normal size pieces of food (i.e. You don't have to cut your food into tiny pieces to swallow) it's is not likely there is anything serious causing it. Lump in throat: What you are describing is most likely anxiety and stress reactions.  Try antacids like Tums or Pepcid (famotidine) to see if it makes you feel better.  Do meditation and relaxation exercises.  Keep a journal to pin point causes of anxiety.  See your doctor about cause of your symptoms and anxiety relief.

I am not sure if all: Of these symptoms tie together.  Here is something you can do to help the post nasal drip. Neti pots can help. Mix ¼ tsp salt w 1 cup lukewarm water. More salt can also be used. Place solution in neti pot.  Tilt head & pour solution into 1 nostril. Blow nose lightly & spit out any liquid that drains into throat. Repeat on other side. This can be done in the evening before you go to bed & again in.

been burping, feeling of lump in throat and sensation that their is backflow. nexium (esomeprazole) not working. could symptoms be more anxiety than actual reflux?

Possibly.: Anxiety can make reflux worse . I suggest that you go back to your doctor to discuss this and try another medication or adjust your dose. You also need to discuss the treatment for your anxiety.
