i have had a small lump on the back of my neck now, for about three years. its kinda hard and noticeable only when i look down. it does not move. it appeared after i had my last child. anyone know what this could be?

Neck nodule : May be a cyst,  or fibroma. Lipomas-benign fat tumor tend to  be soft If on the side may be a lymph node but three years is a long time for lymph node enlargement.  Would follow up with dermatology for a diagnosis and biopsy and possible removal.

child has painful lump in neck, painful swallowing, coughing blood for 18 months. chest xrays clear. gerd + asthma meds not helping. what could it be?

Many possibilities.: 18 months is a long time for a child to be ill without a formal diagnosis.  Sometimes blood with coughing is actually from the tonsils or sinus drainage, so look to the head as well as the chest and esophagus.  After ENT exam, more thorough pulmonary studies like CT scan or  bronchoscopy may be indicated, as well as GI endoscopy to assess esophageal inflammation like EE.

had a seriously stressful day with a depressed child that just wasnt to die. i took adco-allan 0,5 mg?

male 53, achy "dragging sensation" armpits but no swelling or lumps, mainly right armpit, sometimes left armpit too, sometimes pain on inside of arm. light rash on front of neck below beard line. could this be cervical stenosis?

Dragging sensation: This is a nonspecific symptom and not characteristic of stenosis of the spinal canal at the cervical level. My sense is there is some muscular or ligamental component to your symptoms. A careful examination of the axillae(armpits) would check for any masses or pathological lymph glands and give you peace of mind. I don't think there is any relationship to the light neck rash.

found a hard lump on left side of the neck between the trapezium and s-c-m that can be moved pushed around by 
about 1-2 cm. no pain?

Possibly Lipoma: Get it checked by your physician. If you can feel a soft lump with slippery margin and can move without pain underneath the skin, it can be a benign Fat accumulation. Does not need to be removed; but need to confirm the diagnosis.

You should: take a deep breath and then make an appointment with your doctor.  He/she will give you better advice than the internet.  There are a lot of reasons for lumps on the neck that have nothing to do with a malignancy.

Have it checked: Lumps in the neck can be caused by a number of things ranging from from benign (like lymph nodes responding to an infection, cysts, or non-cancerous tumors) to serious things like cancer. Any neck lumps in someone who smokes are especially worrisome and should be checked by a physician. See your doctor soon, so he/she can do an exam and recommend a specialist if needed (like an ENT doctor).
