Rarely the area can keep bleeding inside your breast, requiring surgery.

Probably related: The probability of those two things are related. If the breast lump is still there, it may be a site of "trapped milk" with infection so your MD needs to check it out and then make the determination as to whether antibiotics are needed or not.

hi doc. i undergo a breast surgery last week and the result of my breast lump was: benign, periductal mastitis. i would like to ask if is it safe to get pregnant again after my surgery? is it safe to breasfeed esp to my breast with removed lump?

: Give yourself 4-6 weeks to heal fully. What you described is not a contraindication for pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Take folic acid supplement and consult with your doctor, preferably an obstetrician.

No, but...: Mastitis is never normal. However, any time a foreign object (needle) is placed into the breast, infection is a possible complication. You should continue nursing as often as possible to empty the breast and take antibiotics as prescribed by your doctor.

Lumps: Difficult to know what these are. You need an assessment and an ultrasound soon. All the best.

Obtain breast exam: You need to have your breasts examined by an  OB GYN MD to determine the cause for your concern. It is difficult, if not impossible, to "guess" as to the source of your breast pain.
