Hemorrhoids: Swollen lumps on the anus are usually thrombosed hemorrhoids.  These are hemorrhoids with a blood clot.  They are usually very tender making it uncomfortable to sit and may bleed.  I suggest you see a doctor for a diagnosis and treatment.

An simple rectal exam and an anoscopy in office can hem diagnose the issue. Other causes include anal warts or an abscess.
