See answer : Most common causes of a lump in upper inner thigh or groin would include: an infection of a sebaceous gland or hair follicle causing a boil (furuncule); or an enlarged lymph node related to infection of the same leg or genital region; or a hernia (femoral or inguinal). If red or tender or worsens/persists, recommend md evaluation.

Thigh lump sore abd: If red  tender could be infection and  should be drained or given antibiotics if small if just hard and not red could be lympn node representing infection in vaginal area /anus Do you have a vaginal discharge any diarrhea/ Would go to doctor /urgent care today need U/A to rule out UTI and likely pelvic exam to check for pain PID and possibly ultrasound to check pelvic /uterine ovarian condition

: Good information is that its big but not changing rapidly and not tethered to underlying structures , most likely benign, lipoma, cyst . It is better to go and see your doctor to arrange excisional biopsy.. Hope it helps.

Possible bite on leg: Yes, please see your doc.  It is POSSIBLE that the bug/tick is still in there.  The sooner you identify what happened and get treated the better off you will be.  There can be long-lasting effects from tick bites.  Peace and good health.

Go to see GP: You need to see your gp to get checked. Sounds like it could be enlargement of the lymph nodes on the groin that you described on your question. It could be caused by infection, inflammation, trauma etc from the adjacent area like  on the legs, genitalia area etc vs other things like autoimmune  etc. Go to see your gp for further eval.

Boil? lymph node?: The lump in that area could be the starting of an abscess especially since it is sore to touch. It can get bigger and then become an abscess which may require an incision &amp; drainage. if u get yourself checked ASAP then if it is required an antibiotic can be started and no more may need to be done. The doctor also will make sure there are no lesions or infections in the drainage area as a cause.

Many things: It could be a skin cyst, ingrown hair, folliculitis, lymph node, fatty tumor (lipoma), soft tissue cancer (sarcoma), hematoma (bruse from trauma) and many others.
