injury to r foot 6m ago.  disuse atrophy to lower leg.  muscle twitching along inner aspect of foot, now up to inside of leg to calf.  suggestions?

If the disuse: Is secondary to cast you may have nerve damage from the cast. I would recommend physical therapy. You must get that foot and leg moving. You may want to get a baseline EMG/NCV study and of course follow up with your doctor.

the past few weeks my leg muscle has kept twitching constantly. its mostly on the left leg in the calf but also on the lower leg. is this normal? i only have one cup of coffee per day so i dont think its caffeine related?

Leg leg cramping: You mention that the cramping  "mostly" on the left leg, is it on the right leg?  Leg cramping can be related to several things, circulation action issues,  nerve issues (commonly from the back), mineral issues, iron, calcium, potassium, or magnesium. , blood clots, fatigue, or muscle issues. Rarely does it come from toxins?

Twtiches: Please start by seeing your doc to rule out/identify any underlying medical condition.  Magnesium supplements are sometimes used to help w/twitches.  Jigsaw brand magnesium is a respected brand but there are others.  Peace and good health.

Fasiculation: This is most likely something called a fasiculation. It is an isolated muscle twitch in one area that lasts temporarily. A good example is an eye twitch. If the symptoms continue, worsen, or move to include other muscles you should see your doctor. It could be a sign of an underlying neurologic disorder.

Muscle twitching: Your electrolytes should be drawn along with thyroid function tests. An MRI of your lumbar spine should be ordered to evaluate for possible disc disease, along with emg; MRI of your brain may also be warranted.

Fasciculation: May be either or both.  Twitching is related to involuntary movement of the muscle under the skin.   The majority are benign and most or all people have at one time or another. It may be associated with diseases of the motor neuron, such as als.  If persisting would have evaluated to a degree that it is concerning would have a neurologic evaluation.

Not likely: Micrographia often is the earliest sign of Parkinson.s disease. (redution in the size of hand writing. Blance issues and difficluty with initiation of mobement may come next along with a pill rolling tremor of one hand. Twitching and muscle loss in the legs can be caused by many conditions. (ALS-diabetic amyotrophy, neuropathy, spinal cord syndromes etc)

No: Its most likely more serious than stress. Need to see a neurologist. It could be a muscle or nerve problem.
