we had done iui back to back on 2 days.my sperm motility has been 42% on the first day and in previous iui cycles .but  on the 2nd day  the report shows 67% and i am worried if they have interchanged specimens.

50-50 if pregnant: Without ivf with preimplantation genetic testing or microsort (that i believe is no longer available) sex selection procedures are generally ineffective in choosing the gender of your child.

Maybe maybe not: You don't mention the other components of the sperm analysis like total count, percentage of abnormal forms, etc. Moreover, your husbands motility % is only one part of the "couple" problem . Males comprise 40% of issues and females 60%. Have you undergone analysis of your reproductive status? If not your fertility capability is based on both of you as a couple and only then can a decision be made

Depends how low ...: In general intrauterine insemination (iui) may help with mild to moderate sperm problems but ivf with icsi (intracytoplasmic sperm injection) is better for severe sperm problems. If semen analysis shows total motile counts (tmc) of less than 10 million on more than one sa, or IUI preparations have less than 2 million 'postwash' tmc (after the sperm is prepared) on a regular basis, icsi is needed.

: No, it is not true. First, it's not easy for a man to ejaculate twice in a short time. Second, a good semen sample is the sample collected after 2 days of abstinence at the least.

Depends: Pregnancy rates depend on many factors (ie low amh or fsh is high) then chances will be lower. Additionally, are both tubes open or only one? Preganancy rates should be individualized and should be a % provided by the physician providing your care. I would call the office performing the procedure and ask them but typically IUI alone its 2% per cycle, Clomid (clomiphene) with IUI 10% and hmg with IUI is 15 %.
