Autoimmune disease: Positive ANA indicate an autoimmune process in the body. However, it could be positive in viral illness, as an effect of some medication and normally with aging. Associated anemia and rash indicate autoimmune disease. Direct Coomb's test will help to confirm the presence of autoantibodies against your RBC.

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that,your data suggests inflammation and iron deficiency. The high ferritin is a marker for inflammation as is high platelet count, Wish you good health!

Not much: If blood contains normal amount of hemoglobin, it will carry oxygen to tissues and CO2 to lungs normally.  If red cells are a little larger than normal, number of red cells ("RBC") could be slightly low.  You could have macrocytosis (large cells) without disease, but might want MD to rule out some causes of it (low B12, low thyroid, increased reticulocytes, and others) just to be sure.

Yes: You have mild anemia.The causes are usually treatable and you need to see a hematologist or your private MD for workup of the cause. In your age group the common causes are due to excess blood loss , ie bleeding, lysis, nutritional factors uncompensated by underproduction from your bone marrow.

Blood loss: Post-op blood loss anemia most likely.  Most patients lose 4 grams of HGB from surgery. Over time, with good nutrition, the blood counts will normalize.

Very mild anemia: It will depend on the normal range of hb used  at your laboratory where you have the test done.  At my lab- the normal range used is between 12-15, so hb of 11 is only mildly anemic. It is nothing to worry much about however. In young woman like yourself- with your monthly period, you lose some iron in every cycle. This can cause mild anemia. Check your iron and take multi vitamin. D/w your md.
