It depends: A HGB less than 10.5 in a female or 11.5 in a male may be important.  One cannot look just at lynphocyte and neutrophil percentages.  It must be interpreted in the context of the total white blood cell count.

It can also be seen in someone who otherwise seems healthy, and may even have a normal bone marrow on biopsy (benign neutropenia).  Viral infections can cause low WBC counts too.

Check with your doc: Low neutrophils can be seen in many different conditions.  Common things that cause neutropenia are infections and drugs.  The drug listed in your history (hydroxychloroquin) can cause bone marrow suppression and neutropenia as a side effect.  Also people with autoimmune disorders (lupus) can have autoimmune destruction of their white cells.

Need to know CBC: Complete Blood counts(CBC)  is essential in order to tell you what you need to know. Neutrophils are typically 50-60% of your WBC count. But they can fluctuate. It depends on the cause of why you had the blood tests done in the first place. if you have had  viral illness(Flue like illness) you can have an increase in lymphocytes which can make the neutrophil look low but that is only a short lived

% vs abs: A complete blood count w differential counts not only the total number of white blood cells (wbc), but also the absolute # (abs)of the different types of wbc, &amp; the % of the total wbc each type makes up. It is therefore possible to have a normal number but an abnormal %. Not necessarily sign of disease, but what it means depends on reason checked, your med history, what usual is for you, etc.

Anemia with: High RDW can be iron deficiency. How recently have you had chemo for breast cancer? Many patients after chemotherapy run a low ish WBC with relative neutropenia.
