Low m levels may cause irritability, nausea, vomiting, anxiety, agitation and sleep problems. Diuretics and beta blocker medications used in combination with d may cause an increased risk of magnesium deficiency. Magnesium is found in green leafy vegetables, whole grain foods and nuts.

Heart: Magnesium and phosphorus are important for the heart, muscles and energy.  You could develop irregular heart rate, loss of energy and cramps.  Calcium can be tied to both of these also.   This can be tested by a blood test.  Have your doctor do that for you.

Magnesium: All PPIs may lower magnesium with long-term use. In March of this year, the FDA issued a warning about PPIs, saying regular use for a year or longer may lead to low levels of magnesium — increasing the risk of leg spasms, arrhythmias (irregular heart beats that can cause heart attack or stroke), and seizures. Their warning said the problem could be reversed with magnesium supplements. But in 25% of cases it couldn’t reverse the deficiency, and PPIs had to be discontinued.

Hard to say: Typically when someone is delirious- you would want to find a cause for it. Low magnesium I suppose could do this but if te magnesium is corrected and he continues to be delirious more investigation may be warranted. There is no way for us to tell if he will be admitted for certain but if he is not then investigations an still be done by his primary care doctor.

High CA: I would not worry about Ca levels until they have been repeated and found to be higher.  What is 2,52?  What is your Vit D level?  What problem are you having? First I would repeat the test as these are just barely above upper limits of normal for that lab. Then discuss with your Dr.
