Low iron: low iron doesn't cause nose bleed. 
most common causes for nose bleed are dry mucus membranes, sinusitis, allergy etc.

i have never had nose bleeds but i had a sudden severe one and another just a minute ago. i was told i have an iron deficiency. also blood when i bm?

Nose bleeds: If you don't have high BP you must see an ENT specialist.
He may cauterize the inner lining of your nose. 
You also may have hemorrhoids - see your doctor and depending on your age even colon cancer.

my daughter 15 has iron def anemia she has tiny pinpoint red and purple dots on her arms that come and go, unusal nosebleeds & upper left abdominal pain. her hemoglobin or iron levels are 6 not sure on the other test results. are her symptoms normal?

: Her symptoms and signs are suggestive of low platelet count/dysfunction in addition to anemia.  I would recommend a consultation with a blood disease specialist.

Lack of C,flavonoids: Vitamin C &amp; bioflavonoids are essential for vascular health. The best source is fruit and Atkins diets tend to have little fruit. That is why I don't advise extreme diets, esp. those low in fruits &amp; veggies. Add some berries to your diet and consider supplementing C and bioflavonoids.

i feel dizzy and shaky and i have memory problems and difficulty preforming certain daily tasks i also have headaches and double vision and high blood pressure when sitting and low when standing whats this? and feel tired and have nosebleeds?

Need evaluation: People perform at their best when healthy, getting adequate restorative  sleep, balanced nutrition &amp; working in a comforting setting. The symptoms cited are vague &amp; overlap with many possible problems. You need to schedule a visit with your doc to sort it out.

had an xray of my foot and an hour later i got a nosebleed. no other symptoms. i'm scared that i got radiation sickness, but the dose was low. help!

Radiation sickness: It gets technical but there is no way you received enough radiation from an xray to give you radiation sickness. Likely the cause of the nose bleed is from dry mucosa. I would rub a little Neosporin into the nose with a cotton swab to keep it moist.

No: Nosebleeds caused by high blood pressure is a myth. He should have his nose examined for polyps, ulcers, or erosions and he should have a blood sample obtained to check his platelets and clotting but most likely, it dry forced heat air causing his nasal mucosa to dry out and crack. A humidifier may be all he needs!

i am used to being at sea level and i  on vacation at 7800 feet. the air is dry and the altitude is cause nose bleeds. what can i do?

Assimilate: Going immediately from sea level to 7800 feet can cause symptoms of altitude sickness including headache, nausea, dizziness and in extreme cases, shortness of breath and confusion.  Staying at a slightly lower elevation for 24-48 hours to assimilate will help.  Otherwise stay well hydrated and avoid heavy exertion for the first few days.  A humidifier can help with dry air causing nose bleeds.

If he is: hemorrhaging and bleeding can't be stopped he should be seen at an emergency room (and should not transport himself).

lately i have noticed during lite blowing of the nose i get a low flow nose bleed.  my nose cavity sprayed with a saline and on occasion i use a jell for the cavity, 1 aspirin 10mg ferosimde  20mg losinpril day is all this causing nose bleeds?
