my dentist is going to pull a non impacted wisdom tooth he said he will need to drill a lot why its not impacted?

Degree of difficulty: Removal of teeth's degree of difficulty depends on the density of the surrounding bone, how curved the roots are, number of roots, how badly broken down the tooth is. This is especially true for wisdom teeth since it is most posterior in the mouth. Drilling may be necessary if it needs to be removed in pieces. Impacted teeth just adds another degree of difficulty to the procedure.

It shouldn't: When your teeth are restored, your bite should be comfortable. If it isn't, please see your dentist for an adjustment.

i recently got my 3rd lower-left horizontally impacted wisdom tooth removed. treatment was carried under loc anesthesia but as doc reached closer to root while drilling and breaking the tooth, i felt more and more pain. is it how it is supposed to be

Anesthesia: Under ideal circumstance you should only feel pressure. If you ever need local anesthetic again discuss your experiences with your practitioner before the procedure.

wisdom teeth (right up & low) extracted on 8th apr by surgeon drilling lower jaw. 12 days over, lockjaw, hard lump on lower jaw & possibly pus (salty)?

Common: Pretty common with a surgical wisdom tooth and at this time you are going though normal issues with hard lumps etc but I am concerned about the lockjaw and the hard lump at the sometime.  I would go back for an evaluation via the dentist or oral surgeon that did the work.  No worries

No: Pcos cannot be cured, but various treatments can control it. The main goal of most treatments is to correct the ovulation problem and to have you gain  regular ovulatory cycles.

Start small: Set a small short term goal that you can achieve 100% and then do it.  Then repeat it for several weeks.  After it has become a habit, 4-6 weeks, then set another goal.  And so on......

Pco: Probably 1 or 2 cycles or month.

can there be any way to repair cavities besides to drill and fill?

Accepted Answer

Yes. many options!: Cavities are actually a mixture of destroyed tooth structure, bacteria (& byproducts), and food that are in your teeth. The dentist removes the debris so that the remaining tooth or hole in your tooth is clean. This bacteria etc. Can be removed with a high speed drill, low speed drill, and even lasers. If the remaining hole is small then a filling (usually tooth colored) can be placed.

Yes: Some centers are using lasers in dentistry.

what is ovarian drilling? when is it necessary? will all pco women require it?

PCOS "drilling": Ovarian "drilling" of PCOS patients is often done to reduce the number of ovarian inhibitory  follicles to allow the ovary to "resume normal ovulatory function". In the past, wedge resections of the ovary  were done before medication options have been found to be just if not more effective.
