Loss of lordosis: Is straightening of either the lumbar or cervical spine. Lordotic curvature is part of the normal s curvature of the spine. When you have a loss of this curvature, you have straitening in the area. This can be normal for an individual, can be a sign of bad posture, or be caused by something like a muscle spasm. This does not allow for the same protective spring action the s curve provides.

They differ: Loss of lordosis is the loss of a normal curve in the spine. If it causes pain there are many treatments from conservative mgt with exercise and pt to surgical correction if there are major symptoms. Spondylosis is basically degeneration and treatment depends on the severity of the symptoms.

Stiff neck: Likely your pain is caused by neck spasm but since your pain is worsening a recheck is warranted and maybe more imaging of you neck.

No: Loss of lordosis itself could not cause ear pain directly.  If you have a herniated disc in your neck, however, this may lead to severe neck and arm pain, spasm, and a loss of cervical lordosis.  Consider an MRI if you continue to have problems.

Neurosurgeon opinion: This opinion will give you the best answer. The problem appears to be the osteophyte and may reflect pressure on a nerve. It  does not necessarily follow that this is the cause but may be a cause. The physiotherapy and meds are a conservative way of treatment. Has the pain gotten better? Treatment is ok: Loss of lordosis in cervical spine (neck)usually due to muscle spasm.  In addition to meds prescribed, heat, gentle range of motion exercises for neck and shoulders will help.  If pain was preceded by trauma and doesn't 
look for neck and shoulder range of motion exercises on the web.Resolve over the next week, needs further evaluation.

Be seen: I would certainly be seen by a primary care doctor to have these issues discussed and come up with a plan to get you better.  Treatment of your anxiety alone may help in relieving some of your other symptoms.
