Yes to #1. No to #2.: The bleeding with first sex idea is overdone. Bleeding means there were little tears. If a woman has a healthy vulva, vagina, and hymen; if she is very stretchy; if she is happy and relaxed, with lots of natural lubrication; if a guy enters at a good angle, at the right spot; if he moves gently with small motions until all is well-lubricated and stretched out; there may not be tearing or bleeding.

If this persists, after the initial encounter, I would seek medical attention.
