when it says trouble walking with brain tumor, does that mean people walk all crooked and bumping in walls?  or falling?

Yes: Brain tumors can certainly cause difficulties with walking which can manifest itself anywhere from feeling off balance, experiencing leg weakness, or lacking walking coordination altogether. If this occurs, walking devices such as canes and walkers are often necessary, and sometimes even a wheelchair.

i have a dent in my left thigh, about 5 inches above my knee. not painful, no trouble walking.i'm fairly fit, walk every day. should i be concerned?

Probably not: Is this a new finding? If it is not, then do not worry. If it is and you are concerned, have your doctor look at it.

Fall with: Parkinson's disease is a serious life-threatening problem.  You must see a doctor immediately.

WHY?: Lorazapam is used to treat stress mainly, so it is odd you can not walk without it.  Seek the help of your dr. as there should be some meds that can help you like muscle relaxants that can create the same "relaxing" properties you were probably getting from the lorazapam.  Good luck.

i've been cleared to walk after a 5th metatarsal foot fractured 10 weeks ago, i having pain and difficulty walking is this normal?

Is possible: It may be healed but you may have a prominent part of the bone that would benefit from a showe insert that accommodates. Let your doc know it hurts and he/she can advise you.

Give it time: Hi. I'd give it some time to even out. Isn't it nice to be off something you've been addicted to for years? Quitting would be for naught if you just go back on. And then the risk of falling goes right back up. Good luck and be safe!

See your doctor.: This is one of those problems where a visit to your doctor is necessary to figure out what's going on.  Only after a thorough evaluation, including examination and possibly labs and other tests, can your doctor correctly diagnose you and treat you effectively.

i'm really stepping up my steps lately (shooting for 8-10k/day). i have tendonitis in both legs that is very painful before and after long walks. in the mornings, i have difficulty walking. should i cut back on walking?

Overuse: I don't think an inflammatory process like tendonitis or a recurrent sprain,strain will heal if you keep on exercising at this level. The inflamed or overused areas require prolonged rest in order to heal. Taking a week's course of an anti-inflammatory medication like Advil or Aleve may also help. A trainer advising you may be of significant help.
