Sounds ok, but...: Some people try 2 loratadine (Claritin) per day because 1 per day did not help. The recommended dose is 1 per day, for use as an allergy medication. So, people who try 2 per day should go back to 1 per day if they did not see a big improvement when taking 2 per day. They should ask their doctors to confirm a diagnosis and ask which other medication can help, instead of taking 2 Claritin per day.

No: Laratadine 10mgm is to be taken every 24 hours.You just took it 6 hours ago.The Maximum daily dose of Claritin sometimes prescribed by Allergists is 20mgm.But according to FDA we can not advice you to take Loratadine and Xyzal same day,and it will cause too much dryness.It is always better to add a steroid nasal spray like Flonase nasal spray if you need added relief

Take tylenol (acetaminophen): tylenolol can be helpful if taken together with the Claritin (loratadine).unfortunately you can take only one Claritin (loratadine) a day which is the recommended dose.

Colds: A cold will run its course. Rest and fluids are all that's necessary. Antihistamines will not help his symptoms unless he sleeps well when he takes  benadryl (diphenhydramine).

my throat feels dry, have 37.5 temperature and sleepiness, after having loratadine 10 mg.  and  phenylephrine 5mg. together.  is that normal?

Can be related  but: The  37.5 temp may be  normal unless you have an underlying illness as the reason to take the meds.  Temperature normall ranges are  like a Bell Shaped Curve  and you are in the normal curve. Loratidine is an antihistamine and this could dry you and make you sleepy. The phenylephrine may actually have a different  effect. In essence  this all appears  normal and physiological.
