Abnl heart rhythm: Afib is short for atrial fibrillation which is an abnormal heart rhythm where your heart speeds & slows down on its own without any good reason.  It can be confirmed by an ekg/ecg or electrocardiogram where your doctor will tell you that you're missing P waves (the signal from the atria). Afib increases your risk of stroke and may warrant taking blood thinners.

Pradaxa: I assume you mean pradaxa, which is a new anticoagulant medication, that is given to prevent strokes from atrial fibrillation.  It does not require the constant monitoring of coumadin, (warfarin) and is thus less intrusive to the patient, but is also more expensive at this time.  That should improve in time.

LIFE and DEATH: They are both "arhythmias" abnormal rhythms of the heart however the A fib (originating in the atrial chambers) is treatable ..usually with medication or electric conversion the latter is ventricular and is FATAL unless stopped with electric current (Cadioversion) The latter is one of the most common causes of sudden death in young people! Options: Many treatment options are available, including: medications (beta blockers, digoxin, calcium channel blockers, sodium channel blockers), electrical cardioversion, a-v node ablation & pacemaker placement, radio frequency catheter ablation, surgical maze procedure...Also, it's common to be on a blood thinner to reduce the risk of stroke. Your doctor will help decide the best choice for you.

Much: Symplistically, atrial fibrillation is an irregular heart rhythmn that can increase the risk for stroke.  A stroke occurs when the blood supply to an area in the brain is cut off for a long enough period of time causing surrounding brain tissue death.

Cialis and a fib: Yes you can. There is no contraindication with a fib.

Coincidence: This is a coincidence. Unless you started have sexual activity that make your heart race, I do not see any connection between the Cialis and reverting back to a fib.

Anxiety post cardiac: experiences is normal, especially re: engaging in any aerobic activities, including sex.   Ask your MD for some reassurance as s/he knows your exact condition.   In general, if your condition requires not exercising for a time, your MD would have told you.   Meanwhile, learn relaxation techniques.   This may have nothing to do with your actual heart condition but you'll feel better dealing with it

Common side effect: It's a know side effect of rythmol (propafenone). Ask to be switched to flecainide.
