after5months of my nose piercing,i faced little bump.afer10days medication,it was healed properly.so,now i change my nosepin,but it hurt me a lot cause of shrinking my piercing hole.i think will it not be agin wounded & infected!what should i do?

Supportive care: Recommend avoiding medication in an 8 month old with cold symptoms. Try nasal suction, nasal saline drops, and humidifier to help breath easier. If has difficulty breathing or does not improve with supportive care then should be seen in person.

Little spots of bloo: coming from where? is it from your genital tract (vagina) ? or from your respiratory tract (nose or mouth)? if the former, kindly see your obstetrician, if from the latter, saline nasal washes, and salt water gargles would help, together with OTC cough meds, but use with caution and read the labels carefully, hydrate yourself well, if no improvement, see your doctor, wish you a healthy pregnancy

Rhinitis: Hello. I would recommend a decongestant such as afrin (oxymetazoline). Use as directed for 5 days. After spraying the afrin (oxymetazoline), follow with saline irrigation. Not a mist but a cleaning/irrigation. Your pharmacist can help you find the rinse. Continue the antihistamine. If no improvement, then see your doctor.

what medications work best for people with who get snotty noses in the wintertime?

Antibiotic/steroid: Cold weather causes rhinorrhea.  Coming into the warm air should help dry the nostrils but if you continue having stuffy nose, perhaps you have sinusitis and will need something like a penicillin for up to six weeks.  Nasonex (mometasone) may also help twice daily. Doubt its an allergy to the cold but an oral antihistamine may also help.

None I know of: The treatment varies with the cause. In kids with nighttime bleeds just washing irritants out of their nose before bedtime or placing saline gel at the outlet before bed will often decrease/stop the frequency. Some adults with bleeds need to be cauterized by an ENT. Perhaps you could provide more detail about your issue so a focused response could be provided.

what are some good over-the-counter child medications for runny noses?

Allergies: If your child has allergies (sneezing, itchy nose, itchy eyes, runny nose) then try zyrtec (cetirizine), claritin/alavert (loratadine), Allegra (fexofenadine) or Benadryl (diphenhydramine).
If he/she has a cold with runny nose no cold meds are recommended under age 6. After age 6 there are lots of choices. They help a little (not a lot). Common brands include triaminic and dimetapp.

Probably not: If the scratch is healing up you probably do not need extra medication. If it begins swelling, getting very red or having pus around it you need to be seen immediately.

Don't necessarily: need meds. Neti pots can 
reduce nasal congestion. Mix ¼ tsp salt w 1 cup lukewarm water. More salt can also be used. Place solution in neti pot. Tilt head &amp; pour solution into 1 nostril. Blow nose lightly &amp; spit out any liquid that drains into throat. Repeat on other side. This can be done in the evening before you go to bed &amp; again in a.m.

Runny nose: You can try a Neti Pot using distilled water and drink some coffee!
