i have a pimple in lip which is on the edge so how should i prevent it because it hurs a lot?

Pimple: Warm soaks with a washcloth and use benzoyl peroxide OTC in clearasil and  Oxy5 and 10 on it. Wash it and treat it like the pimple it is.

Herpes simplex: Possibly, but it would have to be seen to be diagnosed appropriately.

i have always had a cyst on the edge of my lip near my clitoris. but i have just saw three little pimple look bumps near my cyst. what can this be?

Vesicles?: Little pimples, painful with pus, possibly herpes. Get it checked anyway, there are a variety of different causes of genital lesions, some which, if untreated, can ascend into the pelvic region and cause permanent damage, such as sterility.

do cold sores reoccurrence happen on same spot ? my first occurrence was upper lip edge and this time i have single lesion like below lower lip. i dont get pimples near lips so dont know?

: Oral herpes recurrences often are at or near the same spot each time, but not necessarily. Anywhere around the mouth and sometimes elsewhere on the face are possible. Most outbreaks have a cluster of a few lesions, but single lesions are not rare. If your occurrences have not been confirmed as herpes, consider doing that -- i.e. PCR test for HSV within 2-3 days of onset.

i have a big red sore on the edge of my lip, i squeezed it and it popped now it just bleeds. is this a cold sore or a pimple?

Can't really tell : From here.  Cold sores aren't so likely to "pop", but things don't always follow any rules.  If you've had cold sores in the past, this could be another one.  Could be a zit.

Drainage: When it drains it will feel better and begin to heal. If it does not drain on its own, a DR will drain it.

my mum has a bump on her lip, she is convinced it is a pimple and not a cold sore. not on the edge of the lip but right on the lower lip. what is it? difference? i don't want to get it because i have an extreme phobia of getting anything on my face?

: If your mom's problem is oral herpes, you are not at risk unless you kiss her when she is having an outbreak. Don't worry about it.

i have had a series of small red bumps around outer edges of my lips. don't turn into pimples. sometimes whole lip burns and feels swollen. allergy?

No: Allergy usually causes itching which you don't have. Have these bumps been present all of your life?  The burning and swelling points more to an irritant to which the lip has been exposed. Consider changing toothpaste, mouthwash, or lip preparation etc to see if it helsp.

i had my first cold sore in april on upper lip edge , followed by a translucent looking pimple on forehead which had big white head in few days (this was in july) is it also a cold sore ? i tested positive for hsv 1. can i get cold sores on forehead?

: It would be rare to have an HSV1 outbreak on the forehead, but not impossible. If you have similar sores in the same location, herpes would be more likely. If not, probably that one episode was not herpes.

do i have herpes? i had oral and vaginal sex sunday then monday i noticed a red bump right on the edge of my lip. it was really sore (as most of my pimples have been since i went on birth control). i tried to pop it the other day and very little puss came

I : I would get checkeed for herpes.  It my be nothing. But the location of the bump on the edge of the lip is a common location for herpes infection.   It could be just a zit, but you never can tell.  Herpes usually is painful and becomes ulcerated.
