if you put sunscreen on your face that also covers your lips will the sunscreen get ingested when drinking from a cup bc cream on lips? is it bad?

Not particularly: Most sunscreen products contain chemicals that are considered non-toxic. The minimal amount ingested in the manner you describe would likewise be considered insignificant. Anyone can develop an allergic response to any chemical and or protein material which is a separate issue.

Either: Could be either. If you had a lemon or lime in a drink and were out in the sun it can cause a photochemical reaction and swelling and blistering. 
A homeopathic remedy Apis mellifica can help a lot with that.

Dermatologist: Always safest to have new colored skin lesions evaluated by a dermatologist.

Unlikely: Increased pigmentation can be due to many causes like hormones, acne, reaction to cosmetics etc. Sunscreen may help prevent the area getting darker but you should go to a dermatologist and see why you have this in the first place.

: Suppressive therapy with Acyclovir 400mg twice a day for 6-12 months would decrease the recurrence of herpes labials, so called cold sore.  Consult with your PCP.

You may: See a cosmetic dermatologist for evaluation. This could be treated with laser and certain creams.

Lip bumps: May be herpetic or  perioral dermatitis.  For herpes use acyclovir and avoid sun as that exacerbates .  Do not touch herpetic lesions directly as they are contagious. Wash hands immediately and do not  rub eyes. Or may be perioral dermatitis  / impetigo that needs antibiotics either topical or oral - dry weather / sun can worsen it. DO NOT use hydrocortisone  f/u /w/ doc before trip.

Infection: We all touch our face and mouth thousands of times a day. If this hasn't changed with lotion, lip balm, etc, then it is likely an infection. A yeast infection may cause white patches at the corners of your mouth. Bacteria stays red, burns, spreads, and can ooze pus. I recommend that you start with Bacitracin ointment three times a day. If still not better, see a doctor.
