Usually herpes rash is preceeded by a tingling or burning sensation. Acne pimples are red or pus bumps that do not blister. See a dermatologist for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Absolutely: Pimples in the follicles around the lips happen commonly.  They typically appear like a blackhead or pus bump involving one follicle.  Cold sores tend to be it occur with a cluster of tiny blister (vesicles) that are filled with clear fluid.

Maybe. Maybe not.: Herpes recurrences look like a small group of tiny bumps, in a cluster, that break open and then crust over, before healing. One single tiny bump with no other bumps around it is usually not herpes. One's primary care doctor can examine. Facial lesion: Its hard to say without a picture, a lip lesion that commonly occurs during times of stress is known as a " cold sore" or herpes labialis.  This is caused by a strain of the herpes virus and generally abates after a few days or weeks.

It may be herpes: If your blister pops and leave an open score it could be herpes. I would go to the doctor who can give you some medicine to help it and prevent future break outs. You can get it from many different ways. If it is just a score or pimple it will go away in a day or so.

Can't : Can't tell you if it is herpes, but i can tell you that it might be a mucocele, which is a mucous cyst. She may have bitten her lip accidently and crushed a small duct.
