for months carrageenan caused me intestinal pains/constipation. now i still occasionally feel pains, having light/yellowish stools. permanent damage?

Carrageenans: There's some evidence that they can cause some intestinal inflammation but nothing to suggest permanent. If you con't to have symptoms, get a checkup as there may be some other stuff (like an infection) causing the problem. Also, make sure that all dairy productions are stopped to ensure you're not having a mild lactose intolerance based on your history.

wbc's down from 8 to 4.4, lympho abs down from 2300 to 1008, no energy, light brown yellowish stools, all in last three weeks. should i be concerned?

In a word "yes" but: While the number you stated are certainly NOT alarming, they would seem to confirm that something is going on, serious or otherwise. I would more concerned with a significant change in bowel habits &amp; stool and your perception of fatigue. Since you had blood work twice, I assume you are being followed by a physician and recommend you follow up.

recently having persistent light yellowish colored stools. almost like a babies stool. i had gall bladder removed years ago so it's not gall stones. is this something concerning and serious?

: Stool color is derived from the ultra green bile added in transit. It changes through greens to yellows to browns based on the time needed for transit and the effect of germ action on the pigment. I do not consider the color change either worrisome or unusual. It usually signals things moved through quicker.

Need to be examined: Sounds like you have several problems and I doubt they are all related. I could give you a list of all the possible causes of any of your complaints but it won't be helpful. A physician would listen to your complaints, take a history of past medical problems and ask you numerous pointed questions to point towards a diagnosis. He would then examen you. Light = normal: Light colored stools can be normal. Either due to excess fat ingestion or change in intestinal flora. Tried probiotics? That's a lot of tests for one person so I'm sure there are other conditions and symptoms you have. Doubt it's gallbladder issues.

Blocked bile duct: If bile isn't emptying from your liver, the stool can lose its familiar brown color.  This could also mean pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer, cystic fibrosis, or celiac disease.  If it's persistent, it merits a thorough checkup.

Stool color many: There can be many reasons  for stool color  including what you ate.  We consider  black tarry stool as an indication of  intestinal bleed On occasion medical conditions can affect stool color. You can ask your physician if this persists.

Not concerning.: Stool color can vary because of a lot of factors, most notably diet. It is generally not a concern unless the store is bloody or solid black in color, due to bleeding, or rarely very pale due to gallbladder problems. If it persists to be a change in your usual color despite eating your normal diet, you might mention it to your family doctor. Otherwise, it will likely return to normal. Good luck.

Brown stool: Brown stool is more the norm. Tan or yellowish colored stools often are due to more rapid transit through the intestinal tract, as often seen in irritable bowel syndrome, but can be caused by liver,gall bladder or pancreatic disorders. Should you have further concerns, consult a gastroenterologist for evaluation and advice.
