It says nothing about how the blood moves, which is in the nuclear stress images.

Q: had an echo, ef was 76% and 69%. why 2 different percentages? is it physically possible possible to have a 90-100% ef? also cardiolite stress norm.

EF: The ejection fraction calculated from echo is not exact and is at least plus or minus 10%. As such there is no real difference between the two numbers you quote. A 90 to 100% ef is improbable.

Q: is it possible to have an adverse reaction to a cardiolite?

Possible: One can develop and allergic or non allergic reaction to cardiolite. It would be unusual.

80%: If you don't have diabetes and you don't smoke, your pretest probability of significant CAD is very low (<20%) and with a normal test, this drops to <5%. If you exercised well on the treadmill (>10 minutes), your risk is <1%. Look for a different cause of your symptoms.
