Control: There is no "normal level" for either alcohol or street drugs in the body. The primary question to ask, in my opinion, is who is in control- the alcohol or you. If you are in control, you can take it or leave it, you can drink socially and know when enough is enough, if the bottle is in control, then the bottle must be satisfied and it knows no limits.

how would you get prescribed "baclofen" for drug addiction treatment? i heard it helps.

Any doc could : Prescribe this but it is the rare doc who is aware of baclofen.  I use it for stimulant and opioid issues.  However, it is not completely safe and about 0.2-0.5% lose control c/w a syndrome caused by any tranquilizer.

Laser Therapy?: Cold laser has been used successfully ,  for pain symptoms  and for treatment of alcohol and drug addiction as  well smoking cessation 
and i did use it before for that purpose.

Not likely: The first of the 12 steps of narcotics anonymous (like aa) is for the addict to admit that he or she is powerless over their addiction, that their lives had become unmanageable.  The addict needs help, he or she cannot do it alone.

Know yourself.: Remember  - drugs are not addictive, personalities are.  Therefore, if you can know whether and to what degree a person's personality is addictive, this can alert you to have them avoid drugs associated with addiction, e.g. Opiates, alcohol, tobacco.

Treatment options: People who don't have a doctor commonly get treatment - they call a treatment program, in or out patient, some are high cost, others state supported, and some are free.  The first and most important step is to realize you are addicted, and that you need help, and a phone call can get your improved life moving forward.

Good question: Not an easy answer, depending on your relationship with her, it may take "tough love" as there are consequences for her behavior. I would stronly encourage you to attend al-anon, which is a program for friends and loved ones that are affected by someone else's addiction. Learn more about the disease of addiction and how it affects you. Not enough room to write more, good luck.

Chronic asthma: You need to see a doctor who is well versed in treating asthma, as this is a chronic condition that will get worse if you are not treated correctly.

: Not quite sure if this is a medical question, but rather a lifestyle inquiry. Illicit drugs are never the answer to anything. If the prospects are slim in your neck of the woods, you may be inclined to look elsewhere.
