dry mouth/bad breath from anti-anxiety meds. tried "dry mouth" toothpaste and mouthwash. lemon water.. gum doesn't work long at all.. no luck. help?

Dry mouth: Older (tricylic) antidepressants used for depression and anxiety commonly cause dry mouth. But SSRI, MAOI type medications and most of the short-acting anti-anxiety medications are not known to cause dry mouth/bad breath. Discuss alternate med with prescribing doctor. You may also benefit from a dental exam to make sure there is no other condition causing dry mouth/bad breath. I hope this helps.

NO Never: This chemically destroys the enamel of the tooth.  The resulting erosion will later cost you thousands of dollars of reconstruction or the loss of your teeth.  Have a dentist examine you and give you the correct pathway to follow now.

While you are trying to get your teeth whiter, you will be slowly destroying them. Purchase drugstore whitening products if your budget does not allow for professional application.
