Don't do it!: A literature search resulted in only a couple of small case reports. Obviously not enough evidence of efficacy or safety for spinal application.

Difficult: See dermatologist to discuss treatment options. I use Alpha hydroxy acids and steroids.

Good circulation: Loss of lymph nodes can lead to edema. Maintaining good circulation should help. Light exercise to mobilize fluid and avoiding prolonged periods of "dependent" positioning (meaning effected area is below your heart) - so elevating the effected extremity. Massage & compression can sometimes be helpful as well. Limiting the amount of salt in diet can also effect fluid retention in tissues. Goodluck!

Hair leg removal: In fact, steroids are expected to prevent allergic reactions.  You probably are allergic to the hair remover.

Knee pain: This is a problem. One has to ask when did PT (if it was ever done) start relative to the procedure? Also have you had a Lidocaine/Steroid injection into the knee to see if that improves motion. If there is no residual tissue causing this - then aggressive PT. Last resort Stem Cell/PRP injection

Laser: Depending on the size and location of the hemangioma, they can be treated nowadays by a series of laser treatment with a pulsed dye laser. Consult a dermatology laser specialist to see if this is an option.

Pain: I would recommend you contact the provider who took the hardware out. They should know about your symptoms.

Small incisions: The veins are removed through a small incisions less than half an inch long. Depending on whether it the varicose veins themselves are removed, or the saphenous vein is removed, the incisions can be in one or two places, or several. After you heal, the scars will be much less noticeable than the veins were.

Calf mass: If u have a calf mass  for four years , is it painful,growing , firmly fixed to adjacent tissues?If yes then you should be seen by an experienced lower extremity surgeon. The evaluation before undergoing a biopsy is important and should be done by the ultimate treating surgeon.

Leg hair removal: Most topical hair removal creams may provide temporary response.  I do not know of any comparison studies that show one topical product is better than another.
