is the gastritis associated with the leg pain? 

i have pain at the back of my thigh specifically in buttocks area. i see this pain come and go.

Unlikely: Haven't ever heard of this relationship although everybody is unique so maybe you have some reflex sensations. You might want to treat your gastritis and see if the buttock pain goes away, that would help you know if something else is going on.

Unrelated: I know of NO STD that has any crossover symptoms related to back pain, buttock or leg pain. You can have both at the same time but they would not be related.

Disc or sciatica: Back pain can be tricky but is usually self limiting.  However,  you should be evaluated by a medical professional and have follow up to make sure you are improving.

Uncertain : Could be lumber stenosis but that doesn't explain the neck pain. You'll need a full evaluation to help clarify the diagnoses.

TMJ not related: Your TMJ is not related in general. If you end up with a diagnosis of fibromyalgia - strong relationship between fibromyalgia and TMJ.

Sciatica: Back and leg pain are usually due to nerve compression in the spine area.  Tests that look at the spine, like MRI scans can be diagnostic.

i have had severe right leg pain from my foot all the way up to my right buttock. i see a neurologist on 10 november but thats not soon enough. i am in a lot of pain right now?

: Typical sciatica due to spine disease vs. piriformis syndrome. When on your back if you can raise your right leg up 90 degrees without causing the pain, piriformis syndrome is likely. When waiting for appointment, you can take ibuprofen OTC 200 mg x 2 with food q 6 hours as needed and do leg exercise for this syndrome (you can google the method). Ibuprofen can still be used for typical sciatica.

Pain in buttock: You might a possible rectal abscess. Check in with your doctor for evaluation and treatment.

Unlikely: It's possible the back has a pinched nerve in it.  That would explain the connection to the lower back.

Sciatica: Sounds like sciatica. Steroids are fine but not the only treatment. Non-steroidal anti-inflammatories - Naproxen or Ibuprofen need to be continued. Physical therapy should be tried. Very important to have good mattress as you spend much time lying down. Sometimes stronger pain killers may be used to help stay active. Occasionally back brace helps. If worse, have your doc order imaging.
