Reasonable to ...: To suspect skin reaction (allergy) after taking a drug like Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) is reasonable but not confirmative. Being not anaphylactic in nature, future repetitive experience may tell. At present, just leave it alone if bearable or just apply steroid-containing skin cream lightly 1-2 times daily and watch for 3-5 days; if not resolving as wished or worsening, seek evaluation and counseling timely.

i have a painful centercide or mosquitto bite on my leg. can i take prednisone 20mg and augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) 1g together? can i add chlorphenamine tablets too?

Insect bite?: You CAN do anything you wish. The question is whether it is appropriate, and without seeing the area in question it is impossible to know what is needed. The best thing to do is let a doctor see this. Augmentin, (amoxicillin and clavulanate) even if you need an antibiotic, is far down the list of potential choices. Go see your family doctor.

dr gave me alinia and cipro (ciprofloxacin) for diverticulitis.up all night insomnia ,nausea, jittery, leg pain.
had ciff 2 months ago. is augmentin worse than alinia?

Not sure if you mean: Augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) worse than Alinia in side effects? Both give you gastrointestinal upset symptoms, but jitteriness and insomnia should not be attributed to antibiotics.  Unless the GI upset symptoms (nausea/ diarrhea/ etc.) are keeping you up.  Make sure you drink LOTS of water/fluids to replace the volume lost since dehydration is the #1 cause of side effects while on antibiotics.

can i take augmentin, gabapentin and clonezapam together? im using the first for a sinus infection and other two as treatment for restless leg.

Medical interactions: Augmentin will not interfere with the other two medications, however Gabapentin and Clonazepam do increase your risk of over sedation.  I do not know why you have to take both?

Needs to be lanced: I am sorry to tell you but antibiotics do not make an abscess go away. You need to see a doctor and have it opened an drained in order for it to resolve.

Discontinue Meds: A statin medication may cause the unwanted side effect of muscle pain or leg pain.  If this is suspected to be the case, the medication should be stopped.  If the medication was truly the cause of the leg pain, the pain should stop within one week.

i'm on gabapentin 600mg 3x a day... need to wean off because of side affects... taking it for back and leg pain.

Weaning is wise: For any centrally acting agent one should not stop it abruptly.  My advise would be to wean one tablet every 5 days until done- 10 days in your case as reported for 1800 mg a day.
If that is too much too quick you may want to get a script for the 300 or 100 mg tablets.

Many options: Long term nonsteroidal antiinflammatory agents such as cox 1 inhibitors like Ibuprofen can cause interstitial nephritis with kidney dysfunction , GI upset, exacerbate gerd or cause gastric ulcer. I would have an lumbar MRI of the painful leg or lumbar MRI depending on your history and physical findings. Depending on results of mri, many types of narcotics, antidepressants, anti seizure medication, .
