Sorry: A full review of your back , circulation , nerves needs to be conducted. Seeing your doctor who manages your testing will give you the most information. If pain is persistent and unrelenting seeing an Emergency Room doctor would be prudent.

Neck pain: The crackling and popping in the neck are the facet joints in the cervical spine that are akin to cracking your knuckles. That is not a concern. What is a concern is the neck and shoulder pain associated with twitching or cramping in the legs. This may be a sign of pressure on the spinal cord from a disc. An MRI of the cervical spine and an evaluation with a neurosurgeon would be a good decision.

Continuous. : Muscle fasciculations are continuous but cramps or spasticity intermittent initially. ALS can be seen in young individuals but is more common in older individuals.

Sounds accurate: Cannot imagine a neurologic reaction to flu vaccine except that there have been some cases of guillion-barre syndrome (a form of ascending paralysis) associated rarely with vaccinations.  The recommendation you received is good as long as you follow up quickly if you are not getting better and definitely if you develop any other symptoms.

Possible causes include overexertion of the muscle, regular strenuous exercise, damaged nerves, mineral deficiencies, and anxiety. Treated with muscle relaxants, pain relievers, Magnesium, Calcium and Phosphate supplements.

Fasciculation: May be either or both.  Twitching is related to involuntary movement of the muscle under the skin.   The majority are benign and most or all people have at one time or another. It may be associated with diseases of the motor neuron, such as als.  If persisting would have evaluated to a degree that it is concerning would have a neurologic evaluation.
