Put it back in.: Use a back up method  of contraception this cycle ( foam and condoms would be a good choice).  If you do not have a period when ring removed at usual time get a pregnancy test. The good news is 4 hours will not decrease effectiveness very much.

It is always a good idea to avoid consuming food left in room temperature for more than a few hours. Bacteria start growing after 1-2 hrs on non refrigerated foods which may cause disease and various symptoms of food poisoning. Good luck

Not good idea: Eating raw chicken is never a good idea but eating raw chicken that has been sitting out is a true invitation for infection.

No: The salad is fine. More importantly, you breathing in pollution is more concerning. Are you next to a factory or bus station? Frozen meat/ fish: Was the fish/ meat still frozen to touch after 25 minutes ? Was it cold? In general  25 minutes outside of the freezer /refrigerator  on a cool day should not have significant  pathologic effects  .  If it had thawed  and no ice crystals are present  do not return it to the freezer. See below f/u/ w/ doc

Decision making: You do not have to make yourself throw up as spoiled food will cause that naturally most of the times. The most important piece of information missing here is what were your actual symptoms and what are you left with. Other than staying hydrated and trying to avoid eating spoiled food in the future there is not much else I can recommend. Most importantly do not make yourself throw up.

No: This happens to people all the time. If the egg seemed normal, don't worry. There's actually another membrane that protects the part that can be infected from salmonella. If you become very anxious about food poisoning, perhaps you can read up on the realities, and if you're still concerened, your physician can help you.

i baked a ham for 2 hours, left it to cool. it was not cooling fast and it was left out for 5 hours then i put it in the fridge. should i discard it since it was left out so long? would i get bacteria infection off that?
