what is causing my side / flank pain? mostly on the left but sometimes both sides between hip and lower rib. feels dull, sometimes slight burning or cramp feeling. had for over a year, comes and goes. had us and ct scan, cbc, ua came back normal?

: Intermittent bilateral pain, with "burning and/or cramping on both sides" may represent stomach or small bowel disease.  Best is to see a GI physician for endoscopic view and possible biopsy.

i have left side flank pain. feels like its my kidney. its sharp and and it comes and goes not constant. no fever/no pain when urinating/no nausea/normal color light yellow urine/no change in urine output. any ideas what it color be?

Nephrolithiasis?: Can't be sure without speaking back and forth but what you describe sure sounds like a kidney stone, especially if the pain, when it comes, is VERY severe, especially if it is "colicky" (makes you want to walk around, as opposed to curling up in a ball in bed).  Need to check with your doctor who will probably order an ultrasound.

Needs Evaluation: See your doc-expect to have Lab Work including a UA(checking urine), possibly Ultrasound of your Kidney or a CT of your Pelvis and Kidneys. You will also be examined to see if there is possibly a musculoskeletal basis for your pain. You need to get some help working out the cause of your problem.

Need urine analysis: Your symptoms sound like a UTI/pyelonephritis.  You will need a urine analysis as soon as possible to rule out an infection and get treatment for it.

PossibleKidney stone: You need a kidney stone evaluation which includes an urinanalysis and ct scan. A urologist is the best consultant for this.

i have had left side severe flank pain for a month. drs after drs & they have narrowed it down to my endometriosis. but it's never been in my flank?

Problematic: Certainly it would be important to check for kidney stones and other infections. And to check the colon for diverticulosis. But if it is endometriosis then you would need a combination likely of medical and surgical therapy. Would recommend medical treatment first to see if there is any imporovement.
