why does my top left eye twitch and now my bottom left lip twitching?

Probably nothing: Twitching of the small muscles of the face is common, but rarely pathologic.  This finding is most commonly associated with fatigue, overuse or other forms of stress.  I would not be surprised if you are working long hours on something and not getting enough sleep.  You can use B complex vitamins which some believe help with this symptom, but I suggest plenty of sleep and relaxation- be well!

Myokymia: Eyelid twitching, or myokymia, is a benign but annoying condition.  Reducing your stress and reducing caffeine intake make help.  It is not serious.

got a bit of swelling under left eye and also upper eyelid twitching for 3 months never stopping. it also feels like burning behind the eye like when you have the flu.the right eye has no twitch or swelling just burning. allergies or something worse?

Twitch: Usually twitching of lids is not serious. Since your problem has been present for a long period of time you should an ophthalmologist for evaluation.Important to be proactive.

Eye twitches: Eyelid twitches can be aggravated by excessive caffeine, stress and lack of sleep.  If rest, reducing stress and moderating your caffeine intake do not resolve the problem, please see a doctor.

Twitch: Twitches around the eye may be due to dryness, allergy, caffeine, fatigue, or stress.  Try some artificial tears to see if this helps.  Limit your caffeine intake, get plenty of rest, and do something to reduce your stress.

Twitching: Subtle twitching of the muscles of facial expression is not exactly the same as hemifacial spasm.  The spasm is a significant, long lasting contraction of the muscles, which is painful.

Twitching can be caused by fatigue, nervousness, an infection, or sometimes a history of a condition like Bell's palsy.  Sometimes twitching of these muscles is entirely benign.

Lot's of causes.: There are many potential causes.  You will need to see your doc about this as a very thorough history and exam are required to sort this out. May need to see a neurologist. Chances are it is benign.

Fibromyalgia: Multiple symptoms unrelated. Fifth digit numbness suggests ulnar nerve entrapment. Neck and shoulder could be poor position or neck muscles strain. Sciatic pain- poor position, muscle strain fibromyalgia, disc bulge. Eye twitch- too much caffeine, poor sleep, stress or eye straining. Check with your physician for proper diagnosis and treatment. Hope you feel better soon.
