Why does my left eye twitch in the outer corner?

Twitch: Twitches around the eye may be due to dryness, allergy, caffeine, fatigue, or stress. Try some artificial tears to see if this helps. Limit your caffeine intake, get plenty of rest, and do something to reduce your stress.

Myokymia: Most likely you have a benign condition called eyelid myokymia. This typically is caused by stress, caffeine use and lack of sleep. See an eye doctor if it persists or if the twitching spreads to other parts of the face.
