Numb: We worry about "thoracic outlet syndrome" but the person to best help is an orthopedic doctor. You might need an EMG by a neurologist as well. Start with the orthopedic doctor first. If you are displease with their plans, seek a neurologist.

: You should put a cold pack to prevent the hematoma from getting larger. Apply a bandage that mildly compresses the area. It would be preferable to rest the affected arm. If you can work without taking your left arm, you may continue working.

Arm pain: Arm pain may be a muscle-skeletal  condition (strain, contusion, tendontis, bursitis) or a neurological condition (carpal tunnel syndrome, ulnar tunnel syndrome, thoracic outlet syndrome or cervical spine myelopathy='pinched nerves')  if symptoms persist it is best to get seen by your provider.  Rarely is arm pain a 'circulation' problem.

Persistent arm pain: If there is no history of trauma (ie a fall or twisting injury) then persistent single sided arm pain could have several causes. Is the pain worse at night? Worse on movement or at rest?

There could be many different causes but without a proper examination and a history taken it is difficult to give you a proper answer.
