Presistant pain in top half of left arm?

Persistent arm pain: If there is no history of trauma (ie a fall or twisting injury) then persistent single sided arm pain could have several causes. Is the pain worse at night? Worse on movement or at rest? There could be many different causes but without a proper examination and a history taken it is difficult to give you a proper answer. I agree with the other answers to seek advice from a doctor.
