Fair: Your good cholesterol and your bad cholesterol are both high, but your good cholesterol is proportionally higher than your bad cholesterol. So I would say, that this amounts to a modest elevation in your cholesterol.

Individual Values: Cardiovascular (cvd) risk is related to the number of LDL particles (ldl-p) and the number of HDL particles (hdl-p). When ldl-p is high or hdl-p is low cvd risk is elevated. Ratios report an LDL number divided by hdl. However, cvd risk can vary by 40%  a the same ratio value. This is because you can get the same ratio with different LDL or HDL values (e.g., 2000/50 or 1000/25 give the same ratio).

Not really: your ldls are considered bordeline.  Unless you have had a heart attack or stroke, I would just try and follow a diet low in saturated fatty acids such as animal fats.  Follow one that is high in unsturated such as nuts, avacados, olive oils. and don't smoke

Cholesterol: It means your cholesterol is a tad high as is your ratio of LDL to hdl. Talk to your doc, you should be on a good diet exercise program and if no  joy on improving the levels, the doc may want to put you on medication to help it.

Lower cholesterol. : Your total cholesterol and LDL are very high, although you have high good cholesterol (hdl). I do not know your risk profile but i will recommend to  lower your total cholesterol and LDL by watching your diet exercise and discuss it with your doctor.

The number is obtained by dividing the total cholesterol value by the value of the HDL cholesterol.The ideal cholesterol ratio (total chol/hdl) is about 3.5:1. Your ratio is very good.

High HDL: Hardly anyone in their twenties should be tested or be on cholesterol medication. An HDL nearly three times the upper limit of normal means you have more built in protection than almost all men.  You should not be on medication.
