So it would be unlikely that you are pregnant immediately. Nevertheless it is possible that you ovulated sooner.

: Miscarriages are common with first pregnancies, and are difficult to separate from a "late period" unless one gets a serum HCG test to detect low levels of pregnancy hormone.  Your menstrual history can provide information about "pain and bleeding", and if this instance is typical of your normal cycle's symptoms, without a test it is not possible to prove the cause.

All are possible: 7 weeks is quite late especially if you're usually regular.  A miscarriage is a likely scenario, and these are very common, but it is also possible for a pregnancy to survive first-trimester bleeding.  Watchful waiting is safe unless this is heavier than or lasts longer than a normal period, but you could also have a pregnancy test performed followed by a check for viability if positive.

Possible: About 25% of early pregnancies are lost spontaneously, mostly due to chromosomal defects in the embryo. The usual manifestation is a slightly delayed and heavier than usual period. What you described is consistent with a miscarriage.
