Well hydrated : It sounds like high vascularity just meaning when you are well hydrated your veins expand out. Also some medications like vasodilators can cause this.

loss of fat: Subcutaneous fat naturally atrophies over time.  Think of the difference between the cheeks of a baby and a 90 year old man.  These make veins which are normally occurring in the hand more visible.  These can be removed, for cosmetic reasons, by a vein specialist or phlebologist.

Normal appearance: When veins are lower than the heart, the hydrostatic pressure in them is increased.  When veins art at the same level as the heart or higher, their pressure decreases.  Vein walls have a lot of stretch in them, in part to compensate for these changes in pressure.  What you are describing in your question is the result of these pressure changes and vein wall stretch and is completely normal.

Swollen hand veins.: Hand veins can swell for many reasons but the most common is certainly hereditary .  Other factors would be level of hydration, aging, sun exposure and loss of elasticity.  I doubt at age 32 that aging is a factor for you. Actually, I am amazed at the amount of women that i see with bulging hand veins.  They can be easily treated with laser or sclerotherapy and usually a combination of both.

Normal: Prominent veins in hand and feet usually belong to the deep venous system and unless associated with gross varies do not require treatment and cause no problems.

Thrombophlebitis: Painful veins can be the result of thrombophlebitis.  This is an inflammation of your veins most likely the result of a clot.  Sometimes it will progress and become infected.  Using oral anti-inflammatories and warm heat packs will help alleviate the symptoms.  If they persist see your physician for an evaluation.

Veins: Veins break secondary to dilation, pressure.  If the veins are weak either do to genetics or nutrition you can be more prone to breaking.  If you are on blood thinner, aspirin or nsaid that will cause issue.

Probably normal: Usually, these are just normal veins. If they shrink when the hand is raised, don't hurt, & are soft, there is most likely no problem. If there is swelling of the arm, pain, redness, or the veins are firm, further evaluation should be done for clot or infection. They can be treated with sclerotherapy to improve appearance if desired.

Lots of things: Most important, if the pulses are not as strong as normal on both sides of the involved wrist, or the hand is very blue, seek immediate care (vascular emergency).  Someone else can give you a full list of possible causes.
