Accepted Answer

Green mucus: allergens will increase mucus production  and make you prone towards secondary infections. Usually cream to clear color. Green or deep yellow usually indicates the beginning of an infection.  Saline washes frequently. Helps prevent full blown infections

if lung cancer is starting to cause sob, is it usually larger and seen on x-ray? or can sob be a symptom of smaller tumors?

SOB: Typically tumors that are larger are more likely to cause SOB.  However, SOB caused by the tumor is usually secondary to problems with the tumor- PE, Pneumonia, effusion etc.   SOB can be a sign of metatstaic disease where smaller tumor particles effect the lung tissue.

what causes a productive cough after eating? for the past few days, about 10 minutes after every meal, i cough up a large amount of phlegm from lungs

Abnormal: Aspiration, esophago tracheal fistula. 
Sedation, drugs, hiatal hernia / stricture , reflux.

ct chest no contrast says hyperinflation. dr says ct was normal & long torso is the reason lungs look big. would air trapping & bullous show up in ct?

Yes: Air trapping and bullae can be seen on the ct scan. Pfts can also detect air trapping with the special test where they place you in a box and make you breathe through the mouth piece.

could a very large saddle pulmonary embolism cause permanent lung damages a i'm still quite breathless after nearly 3 months of bein diagnosed?

Embolism: Saddle embolism can be fatal, if there was a lot of damages done to lung symptoms  may persist.

NO: Cause of enlarged heart may related other systemic problems , obesity , hypertension , etc ,  even may help due o weight loss.

Yes possible: especially back pains due to weight of the breasts See your doctor , in some cases reduction mammoplasty  is necessary , if there is enough documentation , even  will be covered by medical insurance

Unlikely: Dust can cause an asthma attack which can make your chest feel tight and make you short of breath, wheeze, and cough but it shouldn't cause actual pain.

i've had 2 herniated discs (specifically c5/6 & c6/7) in the last six years. i have a large chest. is it possible that this is the cause?

I doubt it: There no evidence that people have large chest have more cervical disc problems. There are study to show if a lady have large breasts that could strain her neck and back.
