Cosmetic : Try to decrease notice of feet by using dark pants and shoes.  With the lips you can use cosmetic therapies ie foundations to decrease the apparent size of lips. Go to a dept store and get some free cosmetic trials.

Lip Balm: Best way to keep them moist is a good lip balm a number of times per day.  Burt's bbes or any other organic lip balm is best way to keep them moist and not expose you to any unwanted chemicals.

See a Dermatologist: A brown lip lesion which has depth to it and feels like a lump needs to be looked at by a dermatologist. There are multiple reasons and possibilities. Therefore unless one is to see a picture of it or feel it with his hands it is impossible to tell you what needs to be done. I would not squeeze any longer.  I wouldn't worry about it since brown spots on the lips are common but it needs to be seen.

Fillers or Fat Graft: Hyaluronic Acid fillers such as Juvederm and Restylane (dermal fillers) temporarily plump the lips and can last approximately 6 months to a year, depending on the filler. Fat grafts are obtained from a patient's own fat through liposuctioning areas such as inner thighs or abdomen and carefully injecting it into the lips. Fat grafts can last for months and sometimes years, though this depends on the individual.

Need to examine: Is this a new patch or has it been there since birth? If it is of recent origin it is more important to see a doctor for an evaluation. If it is a birth mark, you may wish to leave it alone. Unless it is large and protruding, you may  consult a lady friend of yours for make-up to cover the patch.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex.

Seborrheac dermatiti: it is likely seborrheic dermatitis. especially if it is not painful or itchy or changed in color or size.

a few weeks ago, i bit my lip very hard. since then, i have developed a large ball in my lip. it's hard and uncomfortable. help there is no pain. but my lip sticks out more. it's about the size of a gumball.

You : You may have severed a small duct of a mucous gland when you bit your lip. The mucous will spill into the soft part of your lip. It is called a mucocele.

Make an appointment with an oral surgeon to have it evaluated.
